Today, the spirit of Zen is highly appreciated around the world as an important part of Japanese culture. Through experiencing the tea ceremony—where this spirit truly lives on—you can gain a deeper understanding of Japan’s cultural traditions.
For this experience, we use special tea bowls made from “Miyajima Osunayaki,” crafted by mixing clay with sand from Itsukushima Shrine and firing it in a kiln.
